TermDefinition
energy The ability to perform work or change something
stomata tiny openings on the underside of most leaves that allows air to enter. Also prevents water from escaping.
xylem the plant tissue through which water and minerals move up from the root
transpiration the release of water vapors through the stomata of a plant
phloem the tissue through which food from the leaves move throughout the rest of the plany
