Chemical Property Characteristic of matter that can be observed as it changes to a different type of matter.
Chemical Change Change in matter in which the substances that make up the matter change into other substances with new physical and chemical propertys.
Concentration Amount of substance in a certain volume.
What are some chemical Properties of matter. A burning piece of paper, and rust
How does rust forms? When iron undergoes a chemical change with oxygen.
What is the difference between physical and chemical changes? Physical:No new substances form: cannot be reversed Chemical: New substances form: can be reversed.
How does concentration affect chemical change? When concentration increases,there are more particles to react and reaction increases.
How does surface area affect the rate of chemical reaction? Surface area increases then the reaction rate increases.
Mass conservation- explain During both Physical and chemical changes, mass is conserved. This means the total mass before and after the change must be equal.
