What does Oligarchy mean? A small group of people having control of a county, Organization, or institution.
What does Junta mean? A military or political group that rules a country after taking power by force.
What does representative government mean? A system of goverment where citizens elect offcials to make laws and policies on their behalf.
Who did the Virgina company a point? Sir Tomas West.
Who was the first presadent of Jamestown? Capt. John Smith.
Why did they settle in Jamestown? There were no natives, the land was open, there was water for there boats to settle.
