-lle "to on" or "to at." (basically "to")

Simple Short Vowel Pattern (Vn) Used for most two-syllable words and many longer words. Rule: The last vowel of the word's stem is doubled (lengthened) and then -n is added

into the boat veneeseen - vene (boat)
hVn Pattern (For words ending in a short vowel) Rule: The last vowel is followed by -h + the same vowel + -n.
into the country maahan
into work työhön
The seen Pattern (For words ending in -e) Rule: The final -e is replaced by -seen.
into the phone puhelimeen - puhelime
into the letter kirjeeseen - kirje
The child goes into the car Lapsi menee autoon
I go into the store to buy food. Menen kauppaan ostamaan ruokaa. (kauppa)
The child goes home Lapsi menee kotiin

There is a big table in the kitchen. Keittiössä on iso pöytä.
