What do you look for when analyzing S? # the stanzas. # the lines. Circle punctuation/capitalization and look for patterns.
What do you look for when analyzing L? Box and label any figurative language. Any of the big 10!
What do you look for when analyzing A? Ask yourself, how does this poem make me feel? Look at your mood word list and choose the mood(s).
What do you look for when analyzing M? Gist each stanza and identify the deeper meaning of the poem.
