Thromboembolism Blockage of a blood vessel (embolism) caused by clot that has broken off from where it formed.
Thrombogenic Capable of forming a blood clot
Thrombosis The formation of a blood clot
Polycythemia Excess of red blood cells
Neutropenia Deficiency in neutrophil
Hematoma Mass of blood within an organ, cavity, or tissue
Petechia Small bruise
Ecchymosis Large bruise
Hemostatic Drug that stops bloodflow
Hypervolemia Increased blood volume
Hemoglobin Iron-containing pigment in red blood cells that carries oxygen to the cells
Hemolytic Anemia Anemia caused by the destruction of red blood cells
