TermDefinition
Thumbnail - a miniature version of a slide in presentation software
Slide - a single page of a presentation
Layering - placing objects (text or images) in a visual order (front or back) without changing the position of the objects
Animations - program tool that makes slide objects (text, images, charts, etc) move on a slide
Transition - the visual effect that occurs when you move from one slide to the next during a presentation
Transparent image- revealing what is hiding behind an image that we have inserted in a program
Color Splash - the effect of the use of a colored item on an otherwise black/white image to draw extra attention to the item
Background - the scenery or ground that is behind a main figure or object in an image
Eyedropper tool - tool that matches the colors in a program
Color gradient - a gradual transition from one hue to another, or from one shade to another, usually to fill something in a picture
