QuestionAnswer
Photosynthesis The process by which plants convert light energy into chemical energy.
Respiration The process by which organisms release energy from food.
Decomposition The breakdown of dead organisms and organic matter.
Weathering The process of breaking down rocks and minerals.
Erosion The process of transporting weathered materials by wind, water, ice, or gravity.
Sedimentation The process of depositing sediment in a new location.
