Mutter to speak quietly and in a low voice that is not easy to hear, often when you are worried or complaining about something
Dumbfounded so shocked that you cannot speak
Sneer to talk about or look at someone or something in an unkind way that shows you do not respect or approve of him/her/it
Excited feeling very happy and enthusiastic
Nervous worried and anxious
Enchanted affected by magic or seeming to be affected by magic
Triumph a very great success, achievement, or victory
Stern severe, or showing disapproval
Smudged dirty or not clear
Stumble to step awkwardly while walking or running and fall/begin to fall
Boastful praising yourself and what you have done
Gloating expressing great pleasure because of your own success, or someone else's failure
Scrawny unpleasantly thin, often with bones showing
Lecture a formal talk on a serious subject given to a group of people, especially students
Nasty bad or very unpleasant

Chortle to laugh, showing pleasure and satisfaction
Disapprove having a negative opinion of someone or something
Spite a feeling of anger towards another person that makes someone want to annoy, upset, or hurt them
