What are the phases of mitosis in order? Prophase, Prometaphase, Metaphase, Anaphase, and Telophase.
What is called when materials move from low concentration to high concentration? Active transport.
What layer of the epidermis does keratinization begin? Stratum granulosum.
What tissue is found in bones? Hematopoietic tissue.
What is osteoporosis? A skeletal disease where there is a loss of bone mineral density.
What cell is responsible for the erosion of bone minerals? Osteoclasts.
What is necessary for cross-bridging? Calcium ions.
What is an example of a ball & socket joint? Hip bone and Femur
