Why is Kashmir significant? A disputed region between India and Pakistan, valued for strategic and water resources; both countries claim it and have fought multiple wars over it.
How does Afghanistan factor into regional dangers? Borders both Pakistan and China; Taliban control, terroism, and instability influence regional security, especially along the Durand Line.
Nepal's capital and key feature? Kathmandu; home to part of the Himalayas, including Mount Everest
What does a population pyramid show? The age and sex distribution of a country's population, showing growth trends and demographic challenges.
What does India's population pyramid look like? Wide base and narrowing top - a young, growing population with high birth rates.
What population control efforts has India used? Family planning programs encouraging smaller families and contraceptive access, with mixed cultural success.
