What is the role of the cell membrane? it is the barrier that protects the cell by regulating the passage of materials in and out of the cell
Why are tissues considered the fabric of the body? Tissues are a group of similar cells sewn together to hold all the organs together as a whole
What are the three germ layers that give rise to all body tissues and organs? Ectoderm, mesoderm and endoderm
What is the function of bone marrow? It produces blood cells including red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets
What is articulation? Also known as a joint, articulation is the connection between two or more bones
