What is Homeostasis? It's how an organism keeps its internal environment constant.
Examples of Homeostasis. Normal body temperature, Steady oxygen, Nutrient levels, Balanced fluid pressure
What happens when cells divide? DNA copies itself, so each cell has the same information.
What is Mosaic made up of? Proteins, Cholesterol, Carbohydrates
The membrane has (blank) layers of lipids that help protect the cell and control what enters or leaves. 2
Whats the bottom layer of the skin called? Stratum Basale
The epidermis is the top layer, made up of (blank) layers in total. 5
What are two main types of skeletons? Exoskeletons and Endoskeletons
Functions of the skeleton Protects vital organs, Produces blood cells, Helps us move, Stores calcium
What are flat bones? Skulls and Ribs
What are long bones? Arms and legs
