Disconsolate Without consolation or comfort; unhappy.
Grievous Very bad or serious.
Disparage Regard or represent as being of little worth. (Taking down someone’s character)
Promontory A point of high land that juts out into a large body of water; a headland.
Fortuitous Happening by accident or chance rather than design. (Positive)
Beguile Charm or enchant (someone), sometimes in a deceptive way. (persuade)
Perilous Full of danger or risk.
Clandestine Kept secret or done secretively, especially because illicit.
Illustrious Someone who is well known, praised, and admired for past achievements.
