summaries the Function of integumentary ? Separates internal environment from external environment, providing stability of internal fluid volume
summaries the function of the skeletal? supports and protects internal environment, allowing movement; stores minerals that can be moved into and out of internal fluid.
What is Metabolism? The chemical reactions that occur in the body
What is the role of enzymes? Enzymes are classified as functional proteins; the series of chemical reactions that make up a metabolic pathway in a cell do not usually just happen on their own.
What is catabolism ? there are many catabolic pathways that operate inside human cells. they are known as cellular respiration.
What is RNA ? To make a protein, the gene code in DNA is first copied to messenger ribonucleic acid molecule, or transcript.
What is the epithelia tissue functions? Cover and protects the body surface lines body cavities and transport of substances.
What is the connective tissue function? supports body structures and transports substance throughout the body.
What is the muscle tissue function? Produces body movements and produces movements of organs such as the stomach, heart.
What is the nervous tissue? communication between body parts integration and regulation of body functions.
