Stress, anxiety, or fatigue can lead to mistakes in imaging, miscommunication, or slower response times. Being distracted due to stress could lead to mispositioning a patient for an X-ray. |
| Stress Management Strategies: | Deep breathing exercises, Mindfulness or meditation, Time management, Regular breaks and Peer support. Managing stress improves accuracy, communication, and patient comfort. |
| Important Elements of patient history. | Chief complaint; Onset, duration, and severity of symptoms; Past medical history; Medications and allergies; and Previous imaging studies. |
| What is objective data? | Measurable and observable facts: Vital signs (blood pressure, temperature), Swelling or bruising, and Open wounds |
