What are the primary hormones secreted by the thyroid gland? The thyroid gland primarily secretes thyroxine (T4), triiodothyronine (T3), and calcitonin.
How does oxygen travel in the blood? Oxygen molecules attach to hemoglobin in red blood cells, forming oxyhemoglobin, which is carried to body tissues.
