What does homeostasis mean? Homeostasis is the body's ability to keep everything balanced. Such as the boy temperature, blood sugar levels and water balance. This so that body is able to function properly.
What is DNA? DNA is the molecule that carries genetic information in for cells to grow, develop and reproduce. This is done by the information it carries in order for all living organisms to develop.
What is a biomolecule? A biomolecule is a molecule that is found in living organisms. Biomolecules are known as Carbohydrates, proteins, lipids and nucleic acids.
What is an enzyme? Enzymes act as a catalysts and are essential for the process of digestion, energy production and DNA replication.
What is hyperdermis? The hyperdermis is known as the deepest layer of the skin. It is made out of fat and connective tissues.
Why is the skin important? The skin helps protect the human body against germs, chemicals and injuries.
What are the three functions of the skeletal system? The three main functions of the skeletal system is to provide support, protect and provide movement to the body.
Parathyroid Gland function The Parathyroid Gland helps regulate the levels of calcium in the blood and bones.
Functions of Myosin Myosin helps with muscle contraction, movement and helps cells transport.
What is Keratinocytes? Keratinocytes are known as the main cells in the outer layer of the skin. Also known as the epidermis
