what are Osteocytes and where are they found? it is a bone cell that is within the bone matrix in small cavities called lacunae; The osteocytes detect any kind of stress or damage to the bone and initiate remodeling by signaling the osteoclasts to begin bone resorption
What are the two most important bone cells for bone formation? osteoblast – cells that build bone tissue- and osteoclast – cells that break bone tissue These cells work together with the help of the osteocytes in a process called bone remodeling
bone resorption is the process of breaking down bone and releasing the calcium into the blood stream
What are the three types of cartilages? Hyaline Cartilage Fibrocartilage Elastic Cartilage

where can we find hyaline cartilage? end of the bones between ribs nasal passage Connects the anterior ends of the ribs with the sternum Forms cartilage rings in the trachea , bronchi of the lungs and tip of nose
