H&B Vocabulary

QuestionAnswer
Gravity A force that pulls things down or keeps them in place.
Planet A big round object that circles around a star.
Star A hot ball in space that gives off light.
Solar System The Sun and all the things that circle around it.
Nebula A big cloud of gas and dust where stars are born.
Galaxy A huge group of stars, gas, and dust.
Universe Everything in space
Luminosity How bright something shines.
