13C-NMR Regions

150-220 ppm - carbonyl carbons *resonance lowers frequency* (some carbonyls have higher chemical shifts than others)

What happens when an sp3 carbon connects to an electronegative atom? It shifts to the left one category (50-100 ppm)
Lowest frequency = ? More DOWNFIELD (higher #'s)
25 - 75 ppm - C-N - C-X (halogens)
