Antidiarrheals medications that reduce the number of loose stools
Antiemetics drugs that prevent or treat nausea, vomiting, or motion sickness
Antiflatulents medications used in the symptomatic treatment of gastric bloating or GI gas pain
Antifungals Medications used in the treatment of candidal fungus
Antipruritic Products applied topically to alleviate itching
Antiseptics Substances that inhibit the growth of bacteria
Antispasmodics medications used to reduce the strength and frequency of contractions of the urinary bladder and to decrease gastrointestinal motility
Antiulcer drug that reduces gastric acid secretion or that acts to prevent or treat gastric or duodenal ulcers
Antiviral Medications used to treat viruses
Autonomic automatic, self-governing, or involuntary nervous system
Bactericidal destruction of bacteria
Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) benign irregular growth of the prostatic glandular tissue that can cause issues with male urination
Beta-blockers drugs that block the action of the sympathetic nervous system
Bladder antispasmodics agents that treat urinary incontinence by relaxing the bladder and reducing frequent and uncontrolled urination
Bradycardia abnormally low heartbeat

Electrolytes minerals dissolved in the body fluids
Emollients Medication used topically to protect or soothe minor dermatological conditions, such as diaper rash, abrasions, and minor burns.
GERD A backward flow of gastric secretions into the esophagus causing inflammation and discomfort. GERD is treated with drugs to accelerate gastric emptying.
Gout a form of arthritis in which uric acid crystals are deposited in and around joints
Heart failure the inability of the heart to circulate blood effectively enough to meet the body's metabolic needs.
Herbals plants or other substances occurring naturally that are available over the counter and not FDA regulated.
Histamine 2 blockers Agents that block the histamine receptors found in the stomach to reduce gastric acid secretions.
Hyperkalemia abnormally high potassium in the blood; can lead to cardiac arrhythmias.
Hypertension high blood pressure
Hypokalemia abnormally low blood potassium; can lead to cardiac arrhythmias
IBD The term for a number of chronic, relapsing inflammatory diseases of the gastrointestinal tract of unknown etiology.
Ischemia local deficiency of blood supply because of the obstruction of circulation to a part
Keratolytics agents that promote loosening of scaling of the outer layer of the skin.
Laxatives Drugs that promote evacuation of the intestine.
Minerals chemical elements occurring in nature and in body fluids
Osmotic Agents medications used to reduce intracranial or intraocular pressure
Overactive bladder frequency having to urinate more than eight times in a 24 hour period
Overactive bladder urgency the sudden need to urinate
Probiotics Agents having favorable or health-promoting effect on living cells and tissues
Protectants Medication used topically to protect or soothe minor dermatological conditions.
Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPI) Gastric antisecretory agent unrelated to H2 receptor antagonists used for short-term symptomatic relief of GERD, ulcers, heartburn, and erosive esophagitis.
Supplements products intended for ingestion as an addition to the diet
Tachycardia abnormally fast heartbeat
Uricosuric agents promote urinary excretion of uric acid
Urinary analgesic medication used to relieve burning, pain, and discomfort in the urinary tract mucosa
U.S. Pharmacopeia notation on herbals or supplements indicating that the manufacturer followed the standards established by the USP
