Radio Protocol

| clearing the radio | whoever is of higher rank will clear the radio, if you are of equal rank, you clear the radio |
| what to avoid transmitting | personal information, identifying information, irrelevant information, stepping, humor, profanity |
| critical information to transmit | exact locations, identifying yourself and your team, eta, detailed information |
| status update | cover where you are, what you'e doing, and what its happing/what you see |

| mayday | man down |
| clear | conversation is over, radio is free to be used by others |

| stepping | when a transmission is interrupted by another person trying to transmit |
| man down | immediately radio [your tag] to IC, mayday mayday mayday, radio silence from anyone else until mayday is over |
| landlines | communication between members via cell phones, use with sensitive information or when conversation is length |
