What is the ethmoid bone? a complex, irregular bone, lies anterior to the sphenoid but posterior to the nasal bones. It helps fashion the anterior part of the cranial floor
What structures make up the lateral longitudinal arch? The calcaneus and cuboid tarsal bones plus the fourth and fifth metatarsal bones.
What are the interphalangeal joints? Typical hinge-type synovial joints capable of flexion and extension.
