What was the cause of the Indian Removal Act? Many felt the Native Americans were in the way of the settles gaining more land
What were the effects of Indian Removal? 5 major tribes were removed and fforced to walk a trail to their new location. Millions of Native Americans lost their lives.
Who benefitted from the Gold Rush? Business owners who sold to the miners
How did the Gold Rush affect immigrants and Native Americans? Immigrants were pushed out and attacked. Native Americans forced off their land.
What was the view point of abolitionists? slavery was morally wrong
California Trail used by gold seekers during the California Gold Rush
Missouri Compromise in 1820, Missouri joined the Union as a slave state and Maine became a free state
