TermDefinition
Constant Of Proportionality A constant ratio or unit rate of 2 variable quantities. It is also called the constant of proportionality.
Nonproportional The relationship between 2 ratios with a rate or ratio that is not constant.
Proportion An equation stating that 2 ratios or rates are equivalent.
Proportional The relationship between 2 ratios with a constant rate or ratio.
Proportional Relationship A relationship where a proportional is equal to another one
Unit Rate A rate in which the 1st quantity is compared to 1 unit of the 2nd quantity.
