an inference is... a conclution made after you read a story or article.
the tone is... the authors attitude towards the subject of the writing.
the mood is... the overall feeling or atmosphere that the author creates for the readers.
the perspective is... a unique viewpoint of events determined by personal experiences, background, emotions, and belifes.
