12. inhabitant A person or animal that lives in a certain place
13. peninsula A piece of land connected to a larger landmass that juts out and is almost surrounded by water
14. rural A or relating to the country and the people who live there.
15. sanctuary 1. A place of safety or shelter. 2. Protection offered by such a place
16. splendor Magnificence; brilliance of appearance
17. splendid Very impressive; magnificent.
18. squalor Filth; misery
19. squalid Dirty and unfit for living, especially as a result of neglect.
20. terrain 1. An area of land; a region. 2. The surface features of a region
