| symmetry | made up of exactly similar parts facing each other |
| line of symmetry | - a line dividing a figure into 2 parts that are congruent and mirror images |
| image | - a visual representation of something |
| pairs | - a set of two numbers or objects linked in some way |
| polygon | - a closed figures with straight sides |
| quadrilateral | a polygon with 4 sides and 4 vertices |
| two-dimensional figure | - a FLAT shape that has a length and width |
| parallelogram | - a quadrilateral with opposite sides equal and parallel |
| rhombus | - any parallelogram with equal sides, including a square |
| trapezoid | - a quadrilateral with only 1 set of parallel lines |
| square | - a rectangle with 4 congruent sides and 4 right angles |
| properties | - any attribute that applies to a given object/shape |
| attributes | - characteristics of a figure that help describe it |
