What is Anatomy? Anatomy is the study of the structure of an organism and the relationships of its part.
Anatomy terms that means nearer the surface? Superficial.
Blood production is the function of the? Skeletal system.
Anatomical Position? Upright standing, Feet slightly apart, arms at the sides, and palm facing forward.
Ionic bonds? Chemical bonds formed by the transfer of electrons from one atom to another.
Acids? Release hydrogen ions.
The only organelle that has a double membrane? Mitochondrion.
Function of the cell membrane? To control what enters and leaves the cell.
Body lying face down? Prone.
What epithelial cells synthesize the pigment melanin? Melanocytes.
The outer boundary of a human cell is called the? Plasma membrane.
