| respiratory tract | the pathway through which air travels as it enters and exits the lungs, its divided into two main parts: upper respiratory tract and the lower respiratory tract. |
| urinary system | the body's waste, removal and fluid regulation system. |
| biomolecules | the molecules that make up all living organisms and are essential for life processes such as growth, repair, and energy production. |
| melanin | natural pigment produced by cells called melanocytes in the skin, hair, and eyes. |
| body membranes | thin layers of tissue that covers the body surfaces, line body, cavities and surround organs. |
| ligaments | fibrous bands that help hold the various bones together into an organized skeleton. |
| bone marrow | a type of soft connective tissue called myeloid tissue. |
