| Deltoid – Attachments | Origin: Clavicle, acromion, and spine of scapula Insertion: Deltoid tuberosity of humerus |
| Biceps brachii – Function | Flexes the elbow and supinates the forearm. |
| Biceps brachii – Attachments | Origin: Coracoid process and supraglenoid tubercle of scapula Insertion: Radial tuberosity |
| Triceps brachii – Function | Extends the forearm at the elbow. |
| Triceps brachii – Attachments | Origin: Infraglenoid tubercle of scapula and posterior humerus Insertion: Olecranon process of ulna |
| Brachialis – Function | Flexes the forearm at the elbow (primary flexor). |
| Brachialis – Attachments | Origin: Anterior surface of humerus Insertion: Coronoid process of ulna |
| Brachioradialis – Function | Flexes the forearm at the elbow (especially when the forearm is halfway between pronation and supination). |
