what are the 3 major planes and their definition? 1-sagittal (runs front to back, splits right and left) 2-coronal (run side to side and divides anterior and posterior) 3-Transverse (runs across and divides upper and lower )
what do the number of protons in the nucleus equal? atomic number
How do you calculate the atomic mass of an atom? Add number of protons and number of neutrons in the nucleus.
Name and define three chemical reaction. 1-synthesis reaction (A+B=AB build up) 2-Decomposition reaction (AB=A+B+ energy Breaks down ) 3-Exchange reaction (AB+CD =AD+CB breaks apart to build up)
what are some differences between endocrine and exocrine? exocrine (non hormones and have a duct) endocrine (makes hormones and are ductless)
What are some electrolytes that are inorganic substances? Acids, bases, Salts
What breaks up to form particular ions (Cations and Anions)? Electrolytes
