| What are 3 types of Metabolism | Metabolism is all of the chemical reactions that occur in body cells. Catabolism is when chemical reactions breakdown complex compounds into simple ones and release energy. Anabolism is a chemical reaction that joins molecules together. |
| What is a Hydrogen bond | A chemical bond with a weak attraction between molecules. It is formed when electrons are unequally shared between atoms in a molecule creating a partial positive and partial negative charge. |
| Name the parts of an organelle | Nucleus, Mitochondria, Ribosomes, Endoplasmic Reticulum (rough and smooth), Golgi Apparatus, and Lysosomes. |
| Name 3 cell extensions and their function. | Cilia - hair like projections on moves substances across the cells surface in coordination. Flagella - propel the entire cell (sperm cell). Microvilli - increase the surface area of the cell for absorption of nutrients. |
