lipids Chemically the diverse compound that does not dissolve in water
pH A measure of acidity or alkalinity of a solution
feedback loop a circular process that describes how an event is both a cause and effect in the same system can be positive feedback loop or negative feedback loop
erosion The removal of soil by water Ice wind or gravity
geosphere All of the Rock at and below Earth surface
lithosphere all of Earth made up of hard rock on and just below or Surface the out most layer of earth
biosphere The Earth and all of its organisms and environments
atmosphere The thin layer of gases that surrounds Earth
hydrosphere All of the water salt water and freshwater in the form of liquid ice or vapor above and below Earth's surface in the atmosphere
