what are Isotopes Isotopes are different forms of the same chemical element. They are atoms that have the same number of protons but a different number of neutrons
what is covalent bonds A covalent bond is a chemical bond that involves the sharing of electron pairs between atoms. These shared electron pairs are attracted to the nuclei of both atoms, holding the atoms together to form a molecule
what is cell membrane The cell membrane, also called the plasma membrane, is a thin, flexible, semi permeable barrier that surrounds the cytoplasm of every cell, separating the cell's interior from the outside environment.
what is Cytoskeleton The cytoskeleton is a complex, dynamic network of protein filaments that extends throughout the cytoplasm of all cells eukaryotic and prokaryotic.
what are Endocrine glands Endocrine glands are ductless glands that are part of the endocrine system
what are the 3 types of muscle tissue The three types of muscle tissue found in the human body are skeletal, cardiac, and smooth muscle. They differ in location, structure, and control.
what are skeletal made of They are organs composed mainly of muscle tissue plus connective tissue and nerves. They are wrapped and supported by several layers of fibrous connective tissue, which all blend together and connect muscles to bones (via tendons or aponeuroses.
what covers the skeletal muscle cells They are covered by a delicate connective tissue membrane called the endomysium
