What is a staff? A symbol that has 5 lines and 4 spaces
What is a barline? The symbol that divides the measures
What is a double barline? The end of a section or song ; FINE
What is a repeat sign? Sing a section of the piece again
What is a measure? The space between two bar lines
What is a treble clef? Higher voices (soprano, alto, tenor)
What is a bass clef? Lower voices (tenor, bass)
What is a Flat? Lowers a note 1/2 step
What is a Sharp? Raises a note 1/2 step
What is a Natural? The symbol that cancels a Sharp or a flat
What is a Fermata? Hold the note for longer than its value
