| Covalent Bonds | Chemical bonds formed by the sharing of electrons |
| Microvilli | A type of cell extension that lines the intestines and other areas of the body |
| Plasma Membrane | The outer boundary of a human cell |
| Mitochondrion | The "power plant" of the cell, and is the site of ATP production |
| Lysosome | An organelle that is primarily a sack of powerful digestive enzymes called hydrolases |
| Human Skin | Your body's largest organ and the protective layer between the environment and your internal body, ranging from a thickness of 0.5 cm to 0.3 cm. |
| Nucleus | A membrane-bound spherical structure containing genetic material in a cell, referred to as the "command center" of the cell |
