Anatomy The study of the structure of an organism and relationship of its parts.
Eleven systems compose human body integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic/ immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive.
Homeostasis constant states maintained by the body

Catabolism chemical reactions that break down larger food molecules into smaller chemical units and, in so doing, often release energy.
Anabolism the term used to describe chemical reactions that join simple molecules together to form more complex biomolecules—notably, carbohydrates, lipids, proteins, and nucleic acids.
Lipids are water-insoluble organic bio-molecules. Lipids ordinarily do not dissolve in water because lipid molecules are generally nonpolar.
Peptide Bond is one that binds the carboxyl group of one amino acid to the amino group of another amino acid.
Centrosome The centrosome is a region of the cytoplasm near the nucleus that coor-dinates the building and breaking apart of microtubules in the cell.
Cytoplasm gel-like internal substance of cells that includes many organ-elles suspended in watery intracellular fluid called cytosol
