1. How come only Africans were the only one slaves? Because they were stronger
2. How come English colonial leaders never accepted American Indians as citizens in their towns? American Indians were not seen as equals to white European settlers.

5. What was one of William Bradford's major accomplishments? Signing the Mayflower Compact.
6. Why did people move to the 13 colonies? For religious freedom.
7. How come some immigrants were mistreated? because they were poor.
8. How come people of African descent were rarely accepted by white colonists? because the blacks had a different skin color than the whites.
9. How come women were expected to follow strict guidelines of behavior? Because the colony was probably ruled by men.
10. How come the poor was mistreated? because they could not afford anything.
