prokaryotic Cells that have no nucleus.
eukaryotic Cells with true nucleus and membrane bound organelles. includes organisms in the rest of the kingdoms (Protists, fungi, plants and animals)
organelle Structures inside cells that perform specific life functions, made of complex molecules. ex. nucleus, chromosomes.
nucleus the central organelle in a eukaryotic cell, containing the cell's genetic material (DNA) and acting as its control center
cell membrane the outer boundary of all cells, made of phospholipids, proteins, and carbohydrates, forming a fluid mosaic model that regulates the passage of substances in and out of the cell
