| Surgical Procedures | a medical intervention that involves the use of surgical instruments to manipulate or alter tissues or organs in the body for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes. |
| Amputation | a surgical procedure where a part or all of a limb (arm, leg, finger, toe) is removed. |
| Appendectomy | a surgical procedure to remove the appendix |
| Coronary artery bypass | a surgical procedure that improves blood flow to the heart muscle by creating new pathways around narrowed or blocked coronary |
| Free skin graft | a surgical procedure where a piece of healthy skin is removed from one area of the body (donor site) and transplanted to another area (recipient site) to cover a wound or defect. |
| Tonsillectomy | a surgical procedure that involves the removal of the tonsils |
| Disease Pathology | the study of the mechanisms and processes that underlie a disease |
| Aneurysm | a localized dilation or bulge in the wall of a blood vessel, typically an artery. |
| Arthritis | a group of conditions that cause inflammation and damage to the joints |
| Bronchitis | an inflammation of the bronchial tubes, the airways that carry air to and from the lungs |
| Rhinovirus | Rhinoviruses are the most frequent cause of the common cold and are a common viral trigger for asthma attacks. |
| Skin Cancer | the most common type of cancer, affecting millions of people worldwide |
| General Condition | standard clauses that define the basic rules, procedures, and responsibilities for all parties involved in the project, including roles, payment terms, and dispute resolution. |
| Abrasion | the scraping away of the skin's surface, or, more broadly, the wearing away of a surface by friction |
| Contusion | a region of injured tissue or skin in which blood capillaries have been ruptured; a bruise. |
| Edema | a condition where excess fluid accumulates in the body's tissues, causing swelling |
| Fracture | a break or discontinuity in a bone |
| Hypertension | a chronic condition where the force of blood against the artery walls is consistently elevated above normal levels |
| Sepsis | a systemic infection with life-threatening organ dysfunction |
| Diagnostic procedures | medical tests, examinations, and interventions performed to identify, confirm, or rule out a specific medical condition or disease |
| Biopsy | a medical procedure in which a small sample of tissue or cells is removed from the body for examination under a microscope. |
| Computed tomography (CT) scan | a medical imaging test that uses X-rays to create detailed, cross-sectional images of the body's internal structures |
| Toxicology Screen | A toxicology screen, or tox screen, is a laboratory test that checks a biological sample—such as urine, blood, hair, or saliva—for the presence of drugs or other chemicals in the body. |
| Ultrasound | sound or other vibrations having an ultrasonic frequency, particularly as used in medical imaging. |
| Ventipuncture | the puncture of a vein as part of a medical procedure, typically to withdraw a blood sample or for an intravenous injection. |
| Treatment | any interventions or actions undertaken to manage, alleviate, or cure a disease or health condition |
| Chemotherapy | a form of cancer treatment that uses cytotoxic drugs (drugs that kill cells) to target and destroy cancer cells |
| Dialysis | a medical treatment that removes waste products and excess fluid from the blood when the liver is unable to do so |
| Pharmacotherapy | medical treatment by means of drugs. |
| Transplant | the transfer of living tissues or organs from a donor to a recipient, or from one part of the body to another, to replace damaged or failing tissue and restore function. |
| Therapeutic | something having to do with the treatment of disease, helping healing to take place, or having beneficial or curative effects |
| Pericarditis | an inflammation of the pericardium, the sac-like membrane that surrounds and protects the heart |
| Ulcerative colitis | a chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) that causes inflammation and ulcers in the lining of the large intestine (colon) |
| Osteoporosis | a progressive bone disease where the amount and density of bone tissue decreases, weakening bones and making them more susceptible to fractures. |
| Vitiligo | a chronic skin condition that causes loss of pigmentation, resulting in white patches on the skin |
| Lymphoma | a type of cancer that originates in the lymphatic system, which is part of the body's immune system |
