| Tonsillectomy | Surgery to remove the tonsils. |
| Aneurysm | A weakened, bulging area in a blood vessel. |
| Arthritis | Inflammation of the joints causing pain and stiffness. |
| Bronchitis | Inflammation of the airways in the lungs, often causing coughing. |
| Rhinovirus | A virus that commonly causes the cold. |
| Skin cancer | Uncontrolled growth of abnormal skin cells. |
| Abrasion | A scrape or shallow wound on the skin. |
| Contusion | A bruise caused by a blow. |
| Edema | Swelling caused by fluid buildup. |
| Fracture | A broken bone. |
| Hypertension | High blood pressure. |
| Thrombosis | Formation of a blood clot inside a blood vessel. |
| Sepsis | A serious body-wide infection causing organ damage. |
| Biopsy | Removing a small sample of tissue to examine for disease. |
| Computed tomography (CT) scan | An imaging test that uses X-rays to make detailed pictures of the body. |
| Toxicology screen | Test to detect drugs or toxins in the body. |
| Ultrasound | Imaging that uses sound waves to view organs or tissues. |
| Venipuncture | Drawing blood from a vein, usually for testing. |
| Chemotherapy | Use of drugs to treat cancer. |
| Dialysis | Machine-based process to clean blood when kidneys fail. |
