What are examples directional terms? Anterior, Posterior, Medial, Proximal
What is anatomical position? Standing straight, facing forward with feet flat and parallel, arms at the sides, and palms facing forward
What is pH? The scale measuring the acidity or basicity (alkalinity) of a solution
What are the levels of pH? 0-14 is the range
What is the part of the cell that stores our genetic code? Nucleus
What is the cytoskeleton? It is the cell's internal supporting framework
What are the different layers of the skin? Epidermis, Dermis, Hypodermis
Which layer is the thinnest layer of skin? Epidermis
Which layer of the skin has our blood vessels? Dermis
What type of skeleton do humans have? Endoskeletons
Long, short, flat, irregular, and sesamoid are examples of what? Types of bones in the human body
What are the three major types of cells found in bone? Osteoblasts, Osteoclasts, and osteocytes
