What were writers of the Enlightenment were primarily interested in? Writers of the Enlightenment were primarily focused on human rights and freedom of expression. Many different Enlightenment thinkers had different views on how government should be run and which rights the people should have guaranteed.
What are the natural rights of man? The natural rights of man, as claimed by John Locke, were life, liberty and land/property.
According to the Declaration of Independence, the people have the right to alter or abolish a government if that government? They have the power to alter/abolish a government if the government is not serving/attending to the NATURAL RIGHTS of the people, or being unjust or unconstitutional.
Why did Britain become a global power in the 1700s? Britain became a global power in the 1700s due to things like their strong military/navy, their financial stability, their economic and technological advancements, and even the geography of Britain worked to their advantage.
