acids and bases

corrosive a material capable of dameing or destroying other substances on contact via a chemical reaction
litmus litmus is an example of a chemical that is an acid- base indicator
ph scale the ph scale is used to tell us how acidic or basic substance is
universal indicator changes colour depending on the ph of the solution to which it is added.
neutral if there is no colour change we say the colour is neutral
acid many people think that acids are dangerous. some acids are dangerous, bus others are harmless
base a base is a chemical oppistie of an acids. like acids some bases can be dangerous and others harmfull
