Center A point that is the same distance from every point on the circle
circle a two-dimensional shape in which every point is the same distance from the center
diameter the distance around the outside of a circle; it can be thought of as the perimeter of the circle
circumference a line segment that goes through the center of a circle and has endpoints on the circle; the distance across a circle through the center
pi in a circle, the quotient circumference diameter a common approximation is 3.14
radius a line segment from the center of a circle to any point on the circle; also, the distance from the center to any point on a circle
area the amount of space inside a closed two-dimensional figure; measured in square units such as square centimeters
unit rate unit rate - the numerical part of a rate
