Science vocab for lesson 2

TermDefinition
Feedback loop An input or an output of some kind that balances out this can be negative and positive
Erosion The removal of soil by water, wind, ice, or gravity
Geo-sphere All of the rock below the earths surface
Lithosphere Sphere of Earth made up of hard rock on and just below Earth's surface.
Biosphere The earth and all of its organisms and environments
Atmosphere The thin layer gases that surrounds Earth
Hydrosphere All of the water, both fresh and salty in the form of liquid, ice, and vapor.
