| Yellow Bone Marrow | Fat storage inside bone. |
| Periosteum | Outer bone covering. |
| Articular Cartilage | Smooth cartilage at joints. |
| Trabeculae | Spongy bone lattice. |
| Red Bone Marrow | Makes blood cells. |
| Osteon | Unit of compact bone. |
| Haversian Canal | Center of osteon with vessels. |
| Osteocyte | Maintains bone. |
| Osteoblast | Builds bone. |
| Osteoclast | Breaks down bone. |
| Canaliculi | Tiny channels connecting cells. |
| Lamellae | Rings around Haversian canal. |
| Endosteum | Inner bone lining. |
| Lacuna | Small space for osteocyte. |
| Blood Vessels | Carry blood in bone. |
| Arterioles | Small arteries. |
| Venules | Small veins. |
