| Term | Definition |

| Tray | a flat, shallow container or receptacle made of wood, metal, etc., usually with slightly raised edges, used for carrying, holding, or displaying articles of food, glass, china, etc |
| Runway | a paved strip on an airport surface where aircraft take off and land |
| Cockpit | the area at the front of an aircraft, spacecraft, or submersible from which a pilot controls the vehicle |
| Safety belt | a belt or strap securing a person to prevent injury, especially in a vehicle or aircraft. |
| Flight attendant | an airline employee who is responsible for the safety, comfort, and welfare of passengers on an aircraft, serving meals and beverages, and assisting with any issues during the flight |
| Lifejacket | ife vest, PFD (personal flotation device), or life preserver |
| Emergency exit | a door or path used to leave a building during an emergency, such as a fire, when regular exits are blocked or inaccessible |
| Control tower | a building, usually tall and glass-enclosed, located at an airport that provides a vantage point for air traffic controllers to visually observe and direct aircraft |
| Oxygen mask | a mask placed over the nose and mouth and connected to a supply of oxygen, used when the body is not able to gain enough oxygen by breathing air |
| Airline food | an airline meal, is a meal served to passengers on a commercial airplane, typically prepared by specialized catering companies and presented on a tray. |
| Aisle | a passageway or walkway, typically located between rows of seats, such as in an airplane, theater, or church, or between shelves in a store, where items are displayed. |
| Food trolley | A smaller, wheeled cart used to deliver or display food in a restaurant, home,plane or during travel. |
| Overhead locker | a storage compartment for luggage located above a passenger's seat |
